Our Caring Staff

Rachel Eades - (Administrator) Rachel is committed to making sure your child gets personal care and attention! She worked at The Ark when it first opened in 2003 as the lead teacher in the Busy Beaver's room. Rachel graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Behavioral Science and has over 50 hours of education at the Master's degree level. Rachel obtained in 2012 the Aim4Excellence National Director Credential through the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership. Rachel has been a member of Calvary Bible Chapel for all of her life.  

Joyce Hensley - (Little Lambs) Joyce has an Associate's Degree from Owens Community College in Early Childhood Education and has over 20 years experience working with infants. Joyce has been with the center since 2003. Joyce believes infants learn and grow best when they have a meaningful, interactive relationship with their caregiver.

Raquel Stockdale & Sarah Dutridge - (Cuddly Bears) Raquel has been with Noah's Ark since 2007 and Sarah since 2010. Raquel and Sarah began their careers as Aides working with all the ages groups at The Ark. Raquel and Sarah co-teach the Bears. Sarah completed her CDA credential in 2016 while Raquel is in the process of completing her CDA credential. Raquel encourages children to explore ideas through art and play. She likes to provide children with engaging learning opportunities. She believes children learn best when they are having fun. Sarah believes children learn best when they are engaged in play with an adult one on one or in a small group setting.

Juliana Jakubowski-Sagastume - (Leap Frogs) Julie has a Bachelor's Degree from the Bowling Green State University in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Early Intervention. She is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education as an Early Intervention Specialist. Julie has worked with preschool aged children and taught Kindergarten. Julie recently returned from the mission field in Guatemala where she taught Kindergarten. Julie believes children learn best when they are engaged in hands on activities and having fun.

Rachel Dangerfield - (Brave Lions) Rachel has her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Southeastern University. Rachel has many years experience working with all ages of children. Rachel and her husband Pastor Daniel Dangerfield moved to Toledo from Florida to take over as Youth Pastors at CBC. Rachel believes children learn best when they are exploring their environment and using their creativity to make meaning out of their world.

Jodi Youngs - (Chillin' Cheetahs) Jodi has been a part of our day care staff since 2003. She started as an aide before taking over as a teacher in the Bears classroom where she taught for over 8 years. Jodi took over as lead teacher in the Cheetahs classroom in 2015. Jodi believes children learn best through routine and exploring their environment, through the lens of play!

Heather Jividen - (Wise Owls) Heather started out at Noah's Ark as the afternoon schoolage aide in the Owls classroom.  When Shirley retired, Heather took over as lead teacher in the Owls. Heather attended Bowling Green State University for a year and half before taking some time off school. Heather is returning to school in January 2017 to complete her degree. Heather believes children learn best when they are engaged in learning opportunities and exploring their world.
